Albed Rug Company has been in business since 1914. Samuel Albed sold rugs first in Cape May, New Jersey, expanding to Philadelphia in the 1920's. Sam and his son, Ray Albed, Sr. opened for business at our present location in 1960. Ray Albed, Sr. is a three-time past president and 30 year board member of the Oriental Rug Retailers of America (ORRA).

Now located in the heart of the Main Line in downtown Wayne, the third generation of the Albed family proudly serves the Philadelphia metropolitan area with a commitment to service and value. Ray, Jr., Michelle, Renee, Laurice and Nancy are ready to assist with selecting the right rug for your home at a fair price.

Awards & Recognition:
Albed Rug Company was recently awarded the prestigious national Oriental Rug Retailer of the Year award for a second time since 2002. No other store in the country has won this twice. We were also voted Best Oriental Rug Dealer on the Main Line.
